Secretary's Report:

1. Last month’s minutes were read by Gary.
2. Motion to approve by Brandi seconded by Sarah and Thomas and Gary and approved by all.

Treasurer's Report:

1. $3,905.49 in account. None spent just a typo somewhere along the line.

Funding/Grants/Fundraising Committee Report:

1. Brandi emailed Boomer’s information to Shawn about the 501c3 application.

Film Fest Committee Report:

1. The film fest dates are April 18-19.
2. We all agreed that For the Bible Tells Me So would be a great movie to show the Sunday the 20 th and Pioneer Place is open. There would be no rental fee for the space but there would be a charge for the tech and screen. Would HRC be willing to pay for the tech and screen rental? Will there be sign language interpreters? Gary S will follow up with that committee.
3. Entertainment suggestions: Leesa, Cheer Dorothy Cheer, Al Franken, the lesbian band Sick of Sarah, Tania --a drag queen from the TC to sing and MC a possible student drag show. Dan B. will check on costs for Tania.
4. There are more movies to preview. Jerry suggests Back Soon, Amnesie, and Rock Haven. We will have a double feature on 1/20 at Gabi and Brandi’s at 2 pm.
5. Friday night: Freeheld would be an excellent choice. We could center the talk on workplace issues. OUTFRONT would be an excellent source for speakers.
6. Still having trouble finding a lesbian feature or shorts.
7. MONEY: Brandi made some spreadsheets with last year’s advertising information and worksheets for this year. We brainstormed new possibilities and signed up to contact people.
8. Please be brainstorming for advertisers. Think about your personal connections and come with ideas to the next meeting.

Resource Committee Report:

1. The number of visits to the web site for December was 462 – 287 unique visitors. Down a tiny bit but still respectable.
2. New site is on a test website at test.stcloudout.org. Check it out and tell Jerry of any problems. Please email the webmaster@stcloudout.org.

Announcements:

1. GAB Dance schedule for the next few months: 1/19, 2/16, 3/15, 4/19, 5/17 at the Red Carpet. GAB potlucks are still going on. See the GAB skinny for directions.
2. Duluth Pride sent us a thank you letter for coming. We are officially on their mailing list
3. Next meeting will be 2/14 at the Corner Bean on the corner of University and 9th Avenue. Yes that is Valentine’s Day.
