Secretary's Report:

1. Last month’s minutes were read
2. Motion to approve by Thomas seconded by Joe and approved with no changes

Treasurer's Report:

1. No activity.
2. Will send payment of $75 for Duluth Pride this week.
3. GAB donated $37.50 for half of the booth at Pride

Funding/Grants/Fundraising Committee Report:

1. Nothing to report

Film Fest Committee Report:

1. Shawn found a website for films with trailers. They have a wide variety
2. Brandi will contact Dan Barth about the dates.
3. We would love to recruit more members. Anybody out there interested in screening movies? Please email filmfest@stcloudout.org

Advisory Committee Report:

1. Jerry, Joe, Gary, Brandi and Timothy met and reworked the mission statement. They propose taking much of the mission statement and turning it into a strategic plan. The new mission statement would be pared down to the first paragraph of the previous statement.
2. Brandi moved to approve the mission statement and strategic plan. Thomas seconded the motion and it was approved by all.

Duluth Pride:

1. All day festival Labor Day weekend Saturday.
2. Brandi will send off the registration
3. Anybody know who has the banner!?! Please contact us.
4. We will organize it at June’s meeting.

Announcements:

1. A representative from The Central Minnesota Sexual Assault Center wants to meet with representatives from the GLBT community to include our input for training the police. We will forward the information to Dan because he knows everyone. We will also forward the information to GAB and the women’s group. If you are interested in participating, please contact Lisa Santee at the Sexual Assault Center.
2. No GAB dances until August 25
