Treasurer's Report:
- We have roughly $3,000 in the account at the moment.
Funding/Grants/Fundraising Committee Report:
- Nothing to report
Film Fest Committee Report:
Films:
- Possibilities that we have screened so far include: Ready OK and a lesbian short.
- Classics night also a possibility. Wolfe video is the distributor for Desert Hearts. It has 20 minutes of new footage.
- Every year new movies become available around February. As nerve racking as that may be, we are confident that there are good movies out there waiting for us.
- Rachel will contact film schools.
Big Picture Discussion:
We spent a lot of time discussing the future of the film festival. Some of the main movers and shakers are feeling rather burnt out. We wrote a letter to send out to the wider community saying that we need new blood in order for the film fest to happen. It will be sent out over the list serve.
